After World War ll, My Grandfather walked / hitchhiked from Southern Italy to central Germany to reunite with my Grandmother after years apart.
I could only imagine that excitement as he got closer and closer to his home
I wrote about his anticipation he must have had to finally hold the girl that he loved.
